I had someone contact me to suggest an inexpensive juice company a couple of months ago. He suggested Yaeliq. He told me that if you order a few bottles at a time, that it’s well worth it. The company sells 100ml bottles of juice for $18. Now that’s a steal. When he told me they were from Israel, I became disinterested. I didn’t really want to try any juice from another country.
I saw a couple other people talking about Yaeliq on a forum I was active on for a few weeks. There was nothing but good things said about Yaeliq so I started to dig a bit deeper. I found a video from February by Phil Busardo and he was impressed so I figured I’d give them a try.
I ordered 3 bottles, 2 at regular price and 1 in the “Steal of a Deal” section. The “Steal of a Deal” section features some of their e-liquid for a discounted rate. Each month, that selection is changed and you can get a 100ml bottle for $10.
My Order order was placed on July 8th, 2014.
- Tropical Punch – VG/PG: 70%VG/30%PG – Nic level: 6 mg – $10.00
- Tutti Frutti – VG/PG: 70%VG/30%PG – Nic level: 6 mg – $18.00
- Strawberries & Cream – VG/PG: 70%VG/30%PG – Nic level: 6 mg – $18.00
The order arrived at my house on July 18th, 2014. Shipping time wasn’t too bad.
I jumped right in and gave these juices a try. I dripped all 3 on my Mephisto on an 18650 mech mod. I didn’t like any of the flavors. I couldn’t see vaping them at all. I was disappointed, but I decided to give them another try, this time in tanks. No change, they still tasted almost chemical-like. I just wasted $56 (including shipping) on 300ml of juice that I can’t vape.
I posted that I wasn’t happy with my experience in a couple of forum conversations and was urged to let them steep and try again. I really didn’t think it would help, but hell… what did I have to lose? Nothing.
I also entertained the idea that my taste wasn’t working right or that the flavors I chose were not the best that Yaeliq had to offer. I knew that I loved other company’s strawberry flavors, with or without cream, so I felt confident that I was tasting strawberry properly.
I put them in my juice locker and waited.
But wait, could it get better? Could the steeping of the Yaeliq order help it out?
On August 25th, 2014, more than a month after I received my Yaeliq order, I finally tried them again.
The video above shows how that went. I cleaned and replaced the coils on 3 ProTank3 tanks. I loaded them up, set my iPV2 to vape them at around 4 volts and I was blown away at how much a month can change. All 3 flavors were much improved. I actually like 2 of the 3 flavors now.
I didn’t waste $56 after all.
