Watermelon Menthol Vapes-R-Us
Somehow, I have acquired several juices that taste very similar. 1st I bought and loved Space Jam Pluto. I have seen so many people talking about Thug Juice that I had to try it out. I didn’t even check the flavor profile. I just purchased a bottle and started vaping. Whoa! It tastes just like Space Jam Pluto. I headed to Twitter and made a couple observations. The taste is almost identical, but the price is quite different. Shortly after that, I noticed that one of the samples I received from Durasmoke was called Watermelon Chill. I gave it a try and OMG, another that tastes almost the same. The difference between the 3 of them is so negligible.
Thug Juice tastes like a watermelon candy with menthol. Imagine putting a watermelon Jolly Rancher and a mint in your mouth at the same time… that’s kind of what it tastes like.
I’ve tried Thug Juice in a Kayfun @ .5 ohms, a Protank 3, Aerotank Mini, and BDC tank and it tastes great in the higher ohm tanks, but wasn’t too thrilled with it in the Kayfun with the lower build. It started tasting more like a straight menthol. It was perfect at 4.2 volts in the cheaper tanks.
Mt. Baker Vapor describes Thug Juice as follows:
Try this blend of berries and melon, with a cool menthol finish. Thug Juice is a deliciously balanced cool and fruity vape.
Their website’s description mentions berries and melon but people I’ve talked to say that it’s supposed to be grape, watermelon, and menthol. I only get a strong watermelon flavor with a good mix of menthol. It’s pretty damn good but it doesn’t line up with the description.
At 12mg, the throat hit was pretty good, but not over powering.
Bottle and Label
I really love the labels that Mt. Baker Vapor uses. I like them a lot. I made a post about a company called Baga Juice and their new labels look like they are ready for the FDA. They have a nutrition label that looks like the labels that is required for food products in the US. This same style info is what is used on the Mt. Baker Vapor labels. I really love seeing companies get ahead to the FDA!
This label is not really useful, but the one I referred to from Baga Juice is. Mt. Baker Vapor does have the info I want on a label though. It has the ingredients, VG/PG Ratio, their logo, the Made in the USA logo, name of the flavor, and even a date mixed as well. Very nice.
Their bottles are standard soft plastic with childproof caps.
Mt. Baker Vapor is the king of the mountain, pun intended, when it comes to juice value.
If you order a 236 ml bottle, you’re paying $0.17 a ml.
If you order a 30 ml bottle, you’re paying $0.25 a ml.
If you order a 15 ml bottle, you’re paying $0.33 a ml.
Of course, this is ordering direct from Mt. Baker Vapor. You’ll pay a little more at a local B&M and there’s definitely nothing wrong with that, unless your B&M is over charging.
Compare that to the Space Jam Pluto in price per ml.
Space Jam Pluto is $0.80 per ml for a 15 ml bottle and $0.73 per ml for a 30 ml bottle.
Needless to say, Thug Juice is quite the bargain no matter where you get it. Even the bottle I bought from a local B&M came out to $0.46 a ml.
The conclusion is that it’s a great vape and the price is super good. If you like the flavor profile, it’s a no brainer!
I could type on and on about how much I enjoy this flavor since I am a former menthol smoker, but it would be overkill. The fact that almost all of the 600+ reviews of Thug Juice on their website are positive is proof enough that Thug Juice rocks.
