During my visits to Brick and Mortar Vape stores in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday, I came across this grenade mech mod. I had to have it. The thing is, I don’t know anything about it really. The owner of the shop says that it’s made in China and only sold through a vendor in Canada. I walked out with a black version, but they had two other colors available, green and bronze.
When I got home with it last night, I started to dig around to see what I could find. I ran into a dead-end pretty fast.
Other than the images on Fergy’s Vape’s Facebook page, all I could find was a Twitter account pimping this product.
On this Twitter profile, I found the email address and the domain was Eternalte.com. I poppped the url into my browser and it’s a website for a company in China called Eternal. I couldn’t find anything on the website about this product though. I knew I was in the right place because the models they do have listed on the site look like the image I have posted in the top right of this article. The model number printed on this grenade mod is S100 and there is a model number of another mod on their website that is S80. Anyhow, that’s all I know about this mod a this time.
I posted a thread on Vaping Underground and so far, nobody else knows anything about it.
UPDATE: I found information thanks to a Facebook comment from Dee Lynn Quint. Thanks!
It’s called the FITH Mod and there are reference to the Innokin Cool Fire 2 in several places on that page, even though it looks nothing like Cool Fire 2.
|Color:||Black, Yellow, Army green|
|Battery:||IMR 18350 battery|
|Material:||T6061 aluminum alloy|
The connector has both eGo and 510 threading. With a tank like an iClear 16 or Aspire BDC, the base of the tank ends up with 1/3 to 1/2 inch being covered. It doesn’t affect airflow too bad.
This mod has a tube that only allows for an 18350 battery like the one pictured on the right.
My 1st Impressions are good. It feels awesome in the hand, it’s quite solid too. There is no battery rattle and it’s fired everything I’ve thrown at it so far.
Here’s a quick video 1st look at this device:
If I learn anything else about this mod, I will update this post.
